The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations (COSHH) 2002 requires every employer to identify the substances in use at the workplace and to assess whether they present a risk.

For most work activities COSHH is not overly complicated. The assessment covers the statutory requirements and identifies straightforward and practical ways to deal with COSHH regulations.
